On our web site we only gather information directly from the forms you fill out. We use no "cookies" or other electronic means to collect further information or track when you come to our site.
When we recruit a child for an in-person focus group, we will always contact the parent first and get the parent’s permission. For online surveys, we ask the parent’s permission for the child to take the survey. We ask the parent, if he or she wishes, to review the child’s answers before submitting their survey to us.
We ask questions about videogames: how fun they seem, how good the characters are, etc. No personal information will be asked of your child. This general game information is supplied in a report to the game publishers who hire us, to help them make games more fun. Your child's name is never tied to their answers in our reports. (During in-person focus groups, our clients will watch your child talk about the game they've played, but again we never give clients any personal information about your child, like your name and address, without your permission.)
For online surveys, we always mail the prize to the parent if the child chosen as a winner.
